Finding the way forward for Fratton

Fratton Big Local is a Big Lottery funded 10-year project which aims to make lasting improvements to Fratton. It is run by a Partnership of local residents, who make decisions about how to spend the funding.

The vision of Fratton Big Local is to make a real, lasting difference to Fratton and help create a community that is empowered, sticks together and can deal with its issues effectively.

Chit Chats Cafe

Chit Chats Cafe is a local community cafe situated on the ground floor of Fratton Community Centre.

The cafe serves hot food, sandwiches, coffee and tea, soft drinks, and anniversary cake and birthday cake on request.

Bunnywarren Pre-school Nursery

Bunnywarren Pre-school Nursery is a friendly nursery in the Portsmouth area established for over 38 years. Children accepted from 2 years of age. Funding for 2-5 yrs accepted. Open term time.

Pathways Support provides individualised services designed to meet individual Needs.

Stand Up

Stand up is a SEND Family Support Group for SEND (Special Educational Needs and/or Disability) Children and their Families in Portsmouth. Stand Up provides a supportive and non-judgemental environment for children with SEND, their siblings and parents/carers. They welcome children with any form of SEND from delays, autism, cerebral palsy etc. whether they have a diagnosis or not.

Youth Options believe passionately that every young person has the potential to realise their abilities and aspirations, and to make a valuable contribution to their communities. They are committed to developing young people’s social and emotional skills to improve their chances in life.
